ZerO km/u Denken

We hebben een wereld gebouwd voor snel rijdende auto's. Sommige clubs zijn er dol op. Andere clubs stellen deze wereld in vraag met 5 tot 30 km/u denken. Zij vinden dat onze 50 tot 90 km/u regimes heel veel snelheids-vluchtelingen creëren aan de kant van de weg. Deze thuislozen moeten er reflecterende reddingsvesten aantrekken terwijl ze wachten op afgescheiden voet- en fietspaden. Of op veel veiligere snelheidsregimes op het hoofdpodium van de rijweg. Deze reddingsoperaties zijn heel belangrijk, maar ze hebben de neiging om het belang van ZerO km/u denken te verwaarlozen. Moeten we niet wat meer ZerO gaan? ZerO km/h Thinking

We have build a world for fast moving cars. Some clubs just love it. Other clubs question the fast world with 5 to 30 km/h thinking. They argue that our 50 to 90 km/h regimes create a lot of speed-refugees at the borders of the road. These outcasts need to be dressed up with reflecting life jackets while they wait for separate sidewalks and cycle paths. Or for safer speed regimes on the main road. While these rescue missions are very important, they tend to forget the importance of "ZerO km/h thinking". Shouldn't we go more ZerO? Read further and get inspired by the images.

Recycling Travel Time

We tend to see travel time as wasted time. We use waze to reduce it to a minimum and dream about star trek technology to eradicate it. But just like with garbage, we can also wonder how we can recycle it to something of value. At first glance the self-driving car opens a lot of new recycling strategies. But once this technology is generally used in private cars, it risks to make the most promising recycling strategy impossible...
